Banana Black Walnut cake
the Papa's fave.
Once every 20 years I make it.
(no joke)
I hate bananas.
It's not his mother's recipe,
(been there, done that ,not ever again)
it's
"I got a box cake mix pantry.
I don't care if it says Pineapple Supreme.
It will be a banana black walnut cake when
I am thru with it!!"

I know it's only a 1/2 cake. I had 1/2 half my heart
in making it. :)
He is getting spoiled again. last week it was oatmeal raisin cookies,
Oh, and the request for shepherd's pie.

don't i wish, we could set in the atrium sip our coffee, have our cake and eat it too.
